A Set contains members. Members of your group or your raid.

A FilterSet is a type of Set whose contents are updated automatically and in real-time based on a set of criteria you provide in the form of a Filter.

To create a new FilterSet :

Open the RDX Explorer, (second icon of the main panel RDX)

select New Object, choose FilterSet, and enter a name.

You've just created an empty FilterSet. To edit a FilterSet, right click on it and choose Edit.

You will be brought to the Filter editor, where you can design a custom filter.

Create a filterset base on groups, this filterset contains only raiders of group 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 8

Create a filterset base on classes, this filterset contains only Paladin, Shaman and Hunter

Create a filterset base on talent :

Create a filterset base on specific set class :

Create a filterset using set class Has Aggro

Create a filterset using set Debuff class "@Disease"

Create a filterset using set Debuff class "weakened soul"
Important : all buff name and debuff name must be lower case.

Create a filterset using cooldown available :
Member is remove when he use his cooldown

Create a filterset using set File class :
You can reuse any filterset file you have in your explorer

The Builtin package contains some useful filterset :
range filterset
debuff curse, disease, poison, magic filterset
buff fortitude, spirit, arcane filterset

Using operator : And, Or, Not, false, true

Create a filterset of warrior who has aggro :

Create a filterset of dead members or disconnected members :

Create a filterset of caster members with mana between 0 and 15% :

Create a filterset, group 1 and group 2 with debuff name 1 or debuff name 2

Where to use a filterset :

You can use a FilterSet anywhere where a set is required.
- in a window to indicate who you want to have in this window.
- as a condition in the design of your unitframe.
- in a sort object (See the Sort Editor RDX)

The filterset from the explorer is activated only when it is used.
The filterset from the explorer can't be instantiated two times, prevents memory used.

The filterset is one of the most powerful feature from RDX.

Greetings. Great guide, however right now it can't be of any use for me. I've downloaded "core" version plus current patch (7.05 version) and when I open RDX explorer, the only button I have is "Mass send", there others are non-existant. Could you possibly tell me, what I've missed while downloading?

Sorry for making such a trouble with my very first post here.

Be sure that you have 'Development Mode' enabled. To do that, click on the far right icon, and click on 'System'.

Thanks for the reply. I manged to create threat warnings because of it. It appears as red dot in upper left corner of the char box. However here comes my next question. I've made another filter for everyone having magic, poison or disease debuff, however in duel with druid, I havent seen any other dot. Could you direct me, where I could find this one to edit for visual effect?

Sorry again for so many questions, but your mod seems to have great potential. I just need knowledge atm to use it properly.

Hi Vasilissa and welcome to OpenRDX,

please ask your question in the section question.

I think it is time for you to go in the frame editor section, you have a guide about aura icons and aura bars.
